The lowest unit price is not always the lowest project cost. Building material quotations may differ in thickness, surface, packing, accessories, loading quantity, payment terms and lead time. Buyers need to compare the full quotation, not only one line.

What often causes price differences
Two quotes may look similar but include different coating, wear layer, panel thickness, trims, packing or freight assumptions. If those details are not aligned, the comparison is not fair.
Quotation comparison checklist

| Specification | Same thickness, size, surface and structure? |
| Accessories | Are trims, brackets, skirting or fasteners included? |
| Packing | Export packing, pallet, crate and labeling details. |
